Privacy Notice
This Privacy Notice covers every visitor to Winnipeg Casino, every account holder and everyone who gets in touch with our team. It applies from your very first visit and stays in effect while we hold any information about you.
What information do we collect?
We collect just the data a safe, lawful casino account requires.
- Identity details: the email you use, the address where you live, your legal name in full and when you were born, along with any documents sent via our Identity Checks.
- Financial details: the payment methods you use and your deposits and withdrawals.
- Play details: bets, game history, bonuses and Winnipeg Rewards activity.
- Technical details: browser, device and IP information, plus location checks.
- Messages sent to [email protected].
Who do we share it with?
Trusted partners who help us operate, and no one else for profit.
We share information with payment services that handle your money, verification services that confirm your identity and the place you play from, and technical providers such as hosting and email. Each one gets only the data it needs for its task. We never sell your information, and we only disclose it to authorities when Canadian law requires us to.
Why do we use it?
To keep your account working and protected.
Your information lets us open and maintain your account, process payments, verify age and identity, prevent fraud and money laundering, support Responsible Play tools, reply to messages and, if you consent, send offers.
How do we protect it?
Security is built into every step.
Encrypted connections, restricted staff access and routine security checks keep your data secure. Keep your password private, and log off after every session on a device others use.
What legal grounds do we rely on?
Your consent, the contract between us and the legal obligations we must meet.
We process information with your consent, to deliver the service you registered for, and to meet Canadian requirements on age, identity checks and money laundering.
How long do we keep it?
While your account stays open, and then for the period the law requires.
Records of a closed account are kept for the entire period Canadian anti-money laundering rules specify, and are then deleted or anonymized.
What about minors?
Play at our casino is limited to those 19 years of age and up.
If we find that information relates to a person under 19, we close that account and delete as much as the law permits. See our Age Policy.
How do I control marketing?
Offers reach you only if you choose them.
Marketing messages can be enabled or disabled in your account settings, and every email contains an unsubscribe link. Service messages relating to your account will still be sent.
Do you use cookies?
Yes, as set out in our Cookie Notice.
That page lists each cookie category and shows you how to switch them off.
What choices do I have over my information?
You decide how your information is handled, within the law.
- Access: you are entitled to a full copy of all stored personal data relating to you.
- Correction: ask us to fix errors.
- Deletion: request that we erase any information we have no obligation to keep.
- Objection: tell us to cease a particular use of your information, such as marketing.
Email [email protected] and we will confirm your identity before acting.
Does information leave Canada?
Sometimes, always with safeguards.
Some data is processed or stored by partners outside Canada. Under our contracts, they must protect it to a level consistent with Canadian privacy law.
Will this notice change?
We revise it each time our practices or the law change.
We publish every new version here along with its issue date, and we notify account holders by email of any significant change.
How do I reach you?
By email.
Write to [email protected] with any privacy question.
